Coming from a humble background, life after high school wasn’t easy. I completed my Form Four with good results, but due to financial constraints, I couldn’t join university. Instead, I found work as a security guard earning just Ksh 300 per day — and even then, not every day was paid. Sometimes, I’d go home empty-handed over small issues. That life hurt me deeply.
